I love to paint vintage and romantic style illustrations. That’s why I chose these vintage books, with a rose and loose petals, for that romantic touch. I wanted to show you how I paint, with a simple but beautiful illustration. They are perfect for teaching you how to paint a semi-realistic illustration, for all skill levels. I chose a muted color palette: pinks, browns and blues. It is a combination of colors that I love and that I always use. This is something that people always ask me, so I wanted to show you in this tutorial how I paint and all my tips and secrets to get a vintage style illustration. And best of all, we will paint with the same materials.
