Hello, Its Panchami here from brushpaint.n.everything.

I love to explore different subjects when I sit to paint. I love to paint everything beautiful that I see in nature. And when it comes to flowers I constantly find myself drawn back to the two beauties of the flower world- Lotus and Waterlily. They come from the murkiest water but grows into this beautiful and purest thing. I absolutely enjoy painting them.

It’s not just the flower, but also the leaves that have so much movement in them. Some floating over the water and some dancing with wavey edges next to the lotus.

The best companion to paint these with is Art Philosophy watercolour tubes. Even the colour mixes create such beautiful shades. Opera pink and Cobalt blue are my go-to colours for the petals and the range of greens are all so luscious.

Here are some lotus and waterlilies I have painted.

You can learn to Paint these flowers from my online class. Head to my Instagram for more details.
